Initiated by assignment from PT Telkom Indonesia, Patrakom existed to support the maritime telecommunication using Gyro Stabilized Antenna as its primary device. The utilization of gyro in the antenna system can stabilize pointing direction to the intended satellite although the platform where the antenna is positioned is shaking or moving.

 

As aresult, interconnection for internet access and other various applications that are highly required for businessactivity in the off shore and in the ocean can be fulfilled.
